My wife and I just left Kansas City after a two week stay. We tried a few of their bbq places and were disappointed. We went to Famous Dave's yesterday for lunch. My wife had the Georgia pulled pork sandwich and I had the burnt ends sandwich. It was delicious! Much better than the bbq we had in KC!

Got here at 1230pm. Was seated right away. Very fast and friendly service. I think I only waited about 5 minutes for my order to come. Delicious food. I was told by the server that it's one of the smaller dishes they have. And it still filled me up.

Stopped in Sioux Falls a few days ago on way of my cross-USA road trip. As an Asian I am not a big fan for American food at all. Had tried quite a few American restaurants and different dishes, my comment is that they were edible, until I found this place. Had the BBQ chicken wings with the sauce called Wilbur's Revenge, it was literally the best food I've ever had at an American style restaurant! Super tasty!

I am stuffed and satisfied for the fifth time this spring. Every time I come here with the lady and we leave happy. Beer on tap. Every kind of sauce and meat you love. They make it right and they make it that way every time. Always open seating in my experience and it's a comfortable environment. No WiFi or TV so you'll be distraction free.

Went back to use the "Famous Daves" Bucks with the family (and no Mr. Manager, I did not let you know I was coming, as you had ask me to do - I wanted an unbiased visit - no dog and pony show just because I filled out a survey). The food was average, no complaints - but our server was at least present this time, unlike the last time. Like I said before - This Famous Daves is not what i remember it to be ....and with so many dining options in SF.......it wont be long before your staff puts you out of business.

Been here quite a few times. Staff and food is always great! They make sure thay their servers know what they are doing. Always a full beverage too. Try out the nachos and beef brisket you will enjoy the rustic atmosphere and down to earth staff.

Awesome save Famous Dave! Original plans were an epic fail. Pulled up yelp and boom lock the Garmin in on Dave. 20 min later I'm sinking my teeth into tender smoked ribs. Ice cold Blue Moon happy, happy, happy. Fast service, well prepared BBQ and we have another fantastic Famous Daves experience on the books. Great job.

Although this is a chain restaurant, it's actually quite good. A lady at the Falls Park Visitors Center recommended Famous Dave's, and I really appreciated this big meal after the long drive from Iowa. The food was plentiful, tasty, and filling, and the service was super friendly. The decor is incredibly kitschy, but you kind of just have to roll with it. After all, who were we to judge when we were eating a Feast for Two out of a metal garbage can lid? :)

My opinion of Famous Dave's keeps dropping as the years go on. Their portions are getting smaller, their service is inconsistent, and their ribs are still nothing like they were a few years ago. When in the mood for BBQ, I will go somewhere else; however, they still have the best bread pudding I've ever had.

We really enjoyed this visit and ate way too much. The staff is very friendly and the ribs were yummy. I had the new catfish which has a Cajun seasoning, it is spicy but really good! All the food was served hot Our only complaint, I asked for a take out cup and they didn't have one. Also, had to insist on a separate container for the coleslaw I was taking home as I did not want it to leak all over my other left overs. Not a big deal, just hate to have to justify my requests. We will definitely go back when we are in the area.

Sadly, I wasn't hungry enough to enjoy the meal but it was still good and hit the spot. Got the rack of 6 ribs and 2 sides to share and it was more than enough for our hunger level. The ribs were nice, juicy, tender and just ripped right off the bone.. MMM! There were various sauces on the table that you can put on them such as a sweet or hot one but I felt that the ribs were flavorful enough so that I didn't have to put the sauce on. I didn't eat too much of the sides but the complementary chips that came with them were pretty addicting. The best part was that I ate it all with my hand but who even cared? I would definitely come back on an empty stomach!

Famous Dave's is a "chain restaurant" specializing in Ribs. On a very busy Friday night we were seated immediately, The full rack of ribs were meaty and tender. The variety of sauces made the ribs very tasty. Entrees come with 2 sides. The side dishes were also excellent.

My colleague and I stumbled upon this restaurant..The food is really delicious. The ribs are smoky and tender. The creamy Cole slaw is yummy. They have a good beer and wine selection. This was all for a great price.

I have eaten at this Famous Dave's location since it opened around five years ago. My best friend worked there through high school and became the manager of the catering group during the first summer of college so I might have a bias, but I'll keep it down. The food at this FD is great. The ribs are FD win awards every year. They smother them in amazing sauces that you can mix and match. I highly recommend a two meat combo. This way you can get a few bones and some brisket or sausage. This will fill you up for sure! The atmosphere is good and the people are nice. The price is fair for the quality and quantity of food.

Famous Dave's is probably my favorite place to eat. Ever. Their bar-b-que ribs are among the best I've had. Their sides are delicious. The environment is pretty cool. It's difficult for two people to eat here for much less than $50 including beverage and tip, but this is one place that I feel is worth it once in a while.
